Eligibility

The Cook & Win Healthy CNY Recipes Contest is organized by Watsons Malaysia [‘Organizer’] and is open to all Watsons members aged 18 and above, with a valid MyKad as of 5^th January 2024 to 31^th January 2024 [Participant”].

Individuals belonging to the groups listed below are not eligible for this contest:

The staff of the Organizer [including all its subsidiaries and related companies] and their immediate family members [child, parents, siblings, spouses]; and/or

Representatives, staffs, workers and/or agents of suppliers of SMS, facebook, advertising and/or promotional services to the Organizer [including all its subsidiaries and related companies], and their immediate family members [child, parents, siblings, spouses]; and/or

Individuals that have a direct relationship or connection with any staff of the Organizer [including all its subsidiaries and related companies] Period.

This Contest will commence from midnight 0:00:00, 5^th January 2024 and will end on 31^th January 2024 [“Contest Period”]. The Organizer has the right to make any amendments to the Contest Period at any time without any notice. All entries received after 31^th January 2024 will be void.

Contest Mechanics:

Step 1: Prepare any dish using ingredients from Watsons. Note: One of the ingredients have to be “Nutrabliss” item

Step 2: Snap a pic of your dish with the product packaging Step 3: Post the pic on FB/IG with dish’s name. Hashtags:

3 winners will stand a chance to win Dinner For A Table of 10 at Unique Seafood PJ23 (worth RM1,488) and 20 winners will stand a chance to win Watsons Point (worth RM150) each by the Organizer, via email or any other mode of communication deemed appropriate by the Organizer.

The risks of redeeming prizes are in the hands of the prize winners. All relevant costs and expenses to redeem one’s prizes are borne by the winners themselves.

The decisions made by the judges/the Organizer are final, binding and indisputable. Any form of disputes and/or complaints through any kinds of medium will not be entertained.

The winner is bound by the terms and conditions that come with the prize. The acceptance of prize indicates the acknowledgment and agreement of such terms and conditions.

The prize is not exchangeable and/or transferable. Failure to accept prize by the winner once informed via Watsons Malaysia when required to do so shall constitute a rejection by such winner and The Organizer reserves it rights to award the prize to another winner. Any cancellation and/ or refund request once the booking of the prize has been made is strictly not allowed.

The Organizer reserves its sole right and discretion to delete, remove, not consider or reject content that is deemed by it to be improper or offensive in whatever nature.

The Organizer reserves its rights to publish or display materials or information, including but not limited to the names of all Participants for marketing, advertising and publicity purposes in any manner it deems appropriate. The Organizer further reserves its right to use any personal data of Participants in any manner and/or for any purpose it deems fit and the Participants are deemed to consent to such use by participating in the Contest with no monetary payment whatsoever.

The Organizer reserves its right to cancel, terminate or suspend the Contest with or without any prior notice and reason. For the avoidance of doubt, cancellation, termination or suspension by the Organizer shall not entitle the Participants to any claim or compensation against the Organizer for any and all losses or damages suffered or incurred as a direct or indirect result of the act of cancellation, termination or suspension.

By participating in the Contest, Participants are deemed to agree to be bound by the Terms and subject to the Conditions herein set out upon submission of entry. The terms and conditions herein shall prevail over any inconsistent terms, conditions, provisions or representations contained in any other promotional or advertising materials for the Contest. In the event of any inconsistency, conflict, ambiguity or discrepancy between the English version and any other languages version of these terms and conditions, the English version shall prevail at all times.

The Organizer reserves its right to vary, delete or add to any of these Terms and Conditions and/or substitute or change or replace the gifts from time to time without any prior notice.

The decisions of the Organizer in relation to every aspect of the Contest including but not limited to the type of prize and winner shall be deemed final and conclusive under any circumstance and no complaint from any Participants will be entertained.

The Prize is non-refundable, non-transferable and not exchangeable for cash or any other benefits in kind.

The Prize must be taken as stated and no compensation will be payable if the winner is unable to use the Prize as stated.

The Organizer shall bear no responsibility for any damage, loss (including but not limited to direct, indirect and consequential loss), liability, injury or disappointment incurred or suffered by the winner or their guest in connection with this promotion, the promotion of this promotion or the use of any prize, except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law (in which case that liability is limited to the minimum allowable by law).

The Organizer retains the right to substitute the Prize with another of similar value in the event the original prize offered is not available due to circumstances beyond its reasonable control.

The acceptance of contest prizes are taken as permission being granted to the Organizer and its agencies to use the name and/or the photo of the participants for publicity, advertising and/or marketing purposes without prior notice and/or compensations.

The Organizer has the right to change, amend, exclude or add the Contest Terms and Conditions without prior notice, at any point of time and all Participants are bound to these changes.

The Organizer also has the right to void or cancel, redesign, suspend or postpone this Contest in the event of any unexpected circumstances outside of its reasonable control.

By participating in this contest and/or providing your personal data to the Organizer, you warrant and represent that you have read and understood the Privacy Policy enclosed to these Terms and Conditions and you consent to the Organizer’s processing of your personal data in accordance with said Privacy Policy. You agree to indemnity, defend, and hold the Organizer harmless against any loss, damages, costs, claims, actions, or liabilities occurring due to your breach of the aforesaid warranty and representation.

The Organizer has taken the relevant cautionary and security measures to ensure the safekeeping all of the Participants’ personal data, and requires all third party data processors to comply to the same measures. Please note, however, that the Organizer can present the Participants’ personal data should it be required to do so by the law, or by a search warrant, subpoena, or court order.
