WATSONS PINKTOBER DANCE CONTEST TERMS & CONDITIONS

1. The Contest Period

The “Watsons Pinktober Dance Contest”(“this Contest”) runs for 28 days, starting from 4th  October 2021 00:00:01AM to 31st October 2021 23:59:59PM following (UTC+08:00) Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia time zone (the “Contest Period”). Both dates inclusive (“Contest Period”).

WATSONS MALAYSIA reserves the right upon giving adequate prior notice to change the duration and/or the commencement and/or expiry dates of the Contest Period.

2. Eligibility

This Contest is open to all WATSONS members, issued by WATSONS MALAYSIA only (“Eligible Participant”).

 Permanent and/or temporary staff or employees of WATSONS MALAYSIA are not eligible to participate in this Contest.

 Employee and immediate family members of the Organizers, their advertising agencies, subsidiaries, agencies, and suppliers are not eligible to participate in the contest.

 The Organizer may at its sole and absolute discretion extend the Contest Period at any time without prior notice to any party (‘The Extended Period’). Unless an extended period is announced, any entries received after contest period shall be treated as disqualified. Any participation in the Contest during this Extended Period (if any) shall be governed by these terms and conditions (“Terms and Conditions’) which shall remain in full force and effect.

3. Prizes & Participation Criteria

To participate in this Contest, the Eligible Participant will need to:

Post a video of yourself doing #WatsonsPinktoberDance with Instagram reels.
Dance action should include all 6 steps:

Step 1: Arms relaxed at the sides and check if there are any differences between the two.

Step 2: Raise your arms above your head. This allows you to see the underside of your breasts.

Step 3: Turn from side to side to see if there’s any odd shapes.

Step 4 & 5: Place hands firmly on hips bend slight forward. You should feel your chest muscles tighten.

Step 6:  Clasp hands under chin and pull them apart.

Ensure IG reel post is on Instagram profile grid and tag @watsonsmy, #WatsonsPinktoberDance.

Complete your submission by setting your profile to “PUBLIC” so that we can view it.

5 valid entries with top views will be selected weekly as winners.

The following prizes (“Prize”) are available to the winners of this contest.

7. Each Eligible Participant(s) shall only be entitled to win a maximum of one (1) Prize

only under this Campaign throughout the Campaign Period.

 4. Others

All entries must be the Eligible Participants' original works and no part or component thereof is copied from any other work or material.

Each Eligible Participant(s) shall only be entitled to win a maximum of one (1) Prize only under this Campaign throughout the Campaign Period.

Entries that are lewd, obscene, sexually explicit, pornographic, disparaging, defamatory, libellous, illegal, offensive, or otherwise contain inappropriate content or objectionable material should not be submitted and the Organiser reserves the right to remove or demand the Eligible Participant to remove such entry at any time in the Organiser’s sole discretion.

5. Winner Selection Process

Watsons to filter all the eligible members who meet the contest criteria.

Eligible candidates will be contacted via IG direct message.

Participant’s responsibility to reply with member details to WATSONS MALAYSIA in the event of any changes being made to the same by the Shortlisted Participants. Further and for the avoidance of any doubt, WATSONS MALAYSIA shall not be liable for any telco charges, roaming or phone charges which is to be borne by the Shortlisted Participants, whether in or outside Malaysia as a result of WATSONS MALAYSIA contacting the Shortlisted Participants.

WATSONS MALAYSIA reserves the right to record these telephone conversations. The decision made by WATSONS MALAYSIA is final and no correspondence will be entertained.

6. Winners announcement

Winners will be selected via eligible submission with top video view count on closing date. The result will only be revealed 1 week after closing date.

The winners list will be announced on Watsons’ official Facebook page within 1 week after the selection.

The ranking of participants in this contest will not be revealed during contest period.

7. General Terms & Conditions

WATSONS MALAYSIA reserve the right to publish or display the name, video of the Eligible Participants who joined this contest for advertising and publicity purposes in any manner it deems appropriate. By participating in this contest, the Winners hereby consent to and agree that WATSONS MALAYSIA shall be at liberty to publish their names, pictures and video without compensation for advertising and publicity purposes. Non-compliance may result in an alternative winner being chosen.

By participating in this Contest, the Eligible Participant agrees to be bound by these Terms and Conditions and the decisions of Watsons.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, WATSONS MALAYSIA expressly exclude and disclaim any representations, warranties, or endorsement, implied or express, written or oral, of all Prizes offered under this Contest. All risks, loss, damage and/or injury associated with the use of the Prizes shall be assumed by the Eligible Participants.

WATSONS MALAYSIA will not entertain any complaint whatsoever in connection with the Prizes.

WATSONS MALAYSIA shall be entitled to vary, delete or add to any of these Terms and Conditions or any part thereof and/or substitute or replace the Prizes offered under this Contest and/or to extend, modify, shorten, discontinue, cancel, terminate or suspend this Contest by giving adequate notice to Eligible Participants.

No compensation in cash, refund, replacement or any kind shall be given to the Eligible Participants for any losses or damages suffered or incurred by the Eligible Participants as a direct or an indirect result of such variation, deletion, addition or alteration of these Terms and Conditions and/or the extension, modification, cancellation, suspension or termination of this Contest.

Decision of WATSONS MALAYSIA in relation to every aspect of this Contest shall be final, binding, and conclusive.

WATSONS MALAYSIA will not assume any responsibility for the Prizes offered under this Contest and accept no liability (including without limitation, loss of income, profits or goodwill, direct or indirect, incidental, consequential, exemplary, punitive or special damages of any party including third party) howsoever arising whether in contract, tort, negligence or otherwise in connection with this Contest, even if WATSONS MALAYSIA have been advised of the possibility of such damages in advance, and all such damages are expressly excluded.

By acceptance or receipt of a Prize, the Winner agrees to hold harmless WATSONS MALAYSIA and its affiliates and their respective directors, officers, employees and agents from and against any claim, action, proceeding, judgment, damage, loss, expense or liability suffered by WATSONS and its affiliates and their respective directors, officers, employees and agents in connection with such Winner’s participation in the Contest or receipt, redemption or use of the Prizes.

WATSONS MALAYSIA accepts no responsibility for any tax implications that may arise from the Prizes or the use thereof. Any tax filing obligation or any tax payment due to any authority as a result of receipt of the Prizes remain the sole responsibility of the participant. It is the responsibility of each participant to seek independent advice on the possible implications this may have on his/her own financial situation.
