This time around, we are going to enlighten you with some knowledge reading when it comes to TWO’s or in another word TWIN.

Twinning has always been associated with the noun of one of two children or animals born at the same birth. But let’s check out some amazing achievements man-kind has created or built in human history.

  1. Tandem Bicycle – you don’t get to see this so often on the road but this bicycle has a history backdated with patterns created in the 1880s. And over the years with advanced technology and ideas, you see the much improved version til date. Tandem refers to having two riders seated front and back..

  1. Twin-Fuselage Aircraft – if you are fond of historical movies with a slight war content, you may spot these types of aircrafts. Fuselage means the body of the aircraft which would spot two pilots on one side. What we have here is the North American XP-82 Twin Mustang (photographed in 1945) which incorporates a twin-fuselage design.

  1. Longest Twin Span Bridge – you wouldn’t believe it when we say this bridge is 5.4miles long with a daily commute of 55,000 traffic! Previously called the Lake Pontchartrain Bridge in 1965, it is now known as the Frank Davis “Naturally N’Awlins” Memorial Bridge. You can even see the bridge from space! connects New Orleans and Slidell, Louisiana, U.S.A.

We thought of sharing some local achievements which are world icons too!

  1. Petronas Twin Tower – Malaysia’s icon when it comes to architecture when it officially became the tallest twin tower in the world on 15 April 1998 awarded by the Council of Tall Buildings. Simply say, tell me you’re Malaysian without telling me you’re Malaysian when you have a selfie with these towers!

  1. Upin & Ipin – Malaysia’s celebrated twin animation characters who colourised the television animated series with 561 episodes in total. Aside from its popularity within the region, Upin & Ipin has been aired elsewhere in the world including Canada and India!
