As we increasingly spend more time at our workplaces, they are slowly becoming our second homes. With so many of us going to the gym, meeting up with friends or attending other social events straight from our office desks, having a few makeup essentials in our drawers has become a must. We reveal our day-to-night makeup must-have list in this handy guide.Blush is probably one of those beauty products that you never seem to use unless it’s a fancy occasion, but it shouldn’t be that way, because blush actually comes in handy when you want to have a young and healthy look, and it is quite easy to apply blush, all you need to know is the shape of your face. Long shapeFor those who have long face shape, blush is a great way to break it up. Apply a horizontal swipe of colour can makes your face appear wider. You can either apply from the apples to your ears, or start on the top of your cheekbones and blend out to your temples. Oval shapeOval faces are long with prominent cheeks, so you should concentrate your blush on the top of your cheekbones. Use soft strokes, bring it down towards the earlobe and blend towards up the temple. This will give your cheekbones definition. Round shapeYou might want to slim down the face a bit if you had a round face shape. Apply your blush in an angular motion, brushing up towards the temple and down towards the earlobe using a foundation brush and medium size strokes. Avoid the apples because that will make your face appear rounder. Square shapeSquare faces tend to have straight sides and a stronger jawline. With long and very light motions, sweep the blush from the sides of your noise across the cheekbone onto the higher side, moving upwards. This softens the face’s angular feature and draw attention to the rounder parts of the face.
