Is your complexion looking dull and lacklustre? Turn your dull skin into glowing skin with these easy makeup tricks that make you look like you got eight hours of sleep even when you didn’t. Get ready to flaunt a glowing complexion!

#1 Mix it up

Get a subtle radiance from within just by mixing in a liquid-based highlighter to your foundation. Simply mix equal parts foundation and highlighter on the back of your hand. Then dot the mixture on your forehead, cheeks, nose and chin. Smooth it all over your face with a makeup sponge. Make sure you pick a highlighter that isn’t too sparkly, or you’ll look like a disco mirror ball with hair. Another option is mixing one part of moisturizer into two parts of foundation for a sheer and dewy finish.

#2 Damp your beauty brush/sponge

Using a damp sponge or makeup brush is probably one of the easiest ways to achieve a dewy finish, whether you’re using a liquid foundation or highlighter. Just spritz your makeup sponge or brush with water and squeeze out any excess before you apply your foundation or highlighter.

#3 Add a hint of shimmer

Popping an ultra-illuminating highlighter to the right spots for that perfect glow. Just add some extra glow with a touch of highlighter onto your cheekbones, cupid’s bow, and the tip of your nose. If you are too lazy to do that, you may swipe on your highlighter in a sideways V formation that goes from the temple to the cheekbone. This is an easy way to get that glow without mapping out the entire face with product.

#4 Set your glow

The final touch is setting your makeup for a natural glow with an illuminating powder. Using a large fluffy powder brush, sweep the shimmering powder over your face to set the look and help illuminate the high points of your face and undereye area. Give it a minute to set and melt into your skin for a filter-like, soft focus glow.
