3 Simple salad recipe ideas that your kids will love

 

  • Pomegranate Quinoa Salad

Healthy pomegranate salad with spelt and nuts

Ingredients:

½ cup organic quinoa

1 pomegranate

 

Steps:

  1. Pour the quinoa and water into rice cooker. Once it’s done, let it cool.
  2. Cut the pomegranate in half and pop the seeds out.
  3. Transfer the quinoa and pomegranate seeds in a bowl and mix well. Serve immediately.
  • Fresh Fruit Yogurt Bowl

Chia seeds with fresh fruits and yogurt, healthy nutritious anti-oxidant superfood breakfast for whole family

Ingredients:

1 cup plain yogurt

6 strawberries

20g blueberries

1 kiwi

A handful of organic chia seeds

 

Steps:

  1. Peel the kiwi, and rinse together with the strawberries and blueberries with water.
  2. Cut the strawberries in half and the kiwi into slices.
  3. Pour the yogurt into a bowl and add all the fruit ingredients in it.
  4. Add an appropriate amount of organic chia seeds on top. Serve immediately.

 

(3)        Avocado, Corn & Tomato Salad

Ingredients:

1 avocado

1 cup sweet corn kernels

5 cherry tomatoes

1 teaspoon honey

 

Steps:

  1. Halve the avocado. Remove the pit and scoop out the avocado flesh. Cut into even chunks.
  2. Microwave the corn kernels for 1-2 minutes. Allow to cool.
  3. Rinse the cherry tomatoes in water and cut in half.
  4. Put all into a bowl, add honey and mix. Serve immediately.
