Acid Reflux
If you feel discomfort like vomiting or heartburn when you belch, you may have acid reflux actually. If you don’t take it seriously, it could end up with the risk of cancer. To reduce burping caused by reflux, it is suggested to avoid lying down after eating and try to eat less citrus and spicy foods.
Eating too fast
You may find a trend that when you try to rush through your meals, you will belch more than usual. it is because the most common cause of burping is swallowing air. If you frequently swallow large amounts of air, you will not only feel discomfort but also gain more weight and higher blood glucose levels.
Gastrointestinal issues
When you constantly belch in your everyday routine, it may indicate some gastrointestinal issues, such as diarrhea, cramps, bloating and constipation, that cause abdominal pain in result. Remember that proteins and fats are difficult to digest. If your body has a hard time processing foods, taking some supplements to digest foods can save you from excessive burping.
Gallstones
Belching is also one of the symptoms of gallstone. You may experience burping, stomach pain and vomiting at first. Then, it can lead to pain in the upper right abdomen and the pain may last for more than a hours. So, if you have constant burping, look for a doctor to have further consultation.
